Flamengo empata con Real Heips en la Copa Femenina Sub-20 de Río.

On Saturday afternoon (11), in a match held at CT das Vargens, Flamengo did not perform well and drew 1-1 with Real Heips, in the Copa Rio Feminina Sub-20. With the result, Mais Querido - who scored with Ana Papel in the first half - reached 7 points and only depends on itself to win the competition next weekend.

The opening minutes of the match were very disjointed with few scoring opportunities. In the 17th minute, Ana Papel made a good individual play, took a long-range shot and beat goalkeeper Vitoria. The lead allowed Filipe Torres' team to neutralize the game in midfield and exert some dominance until halftime, but without many more chances.

In the second half, the situation remained the same. The first good opportunity came after the water break – already 30 minutes in – through Jamile. The striker received the ball from Dudinha, beat the defense, and shot into the corner. Shortly after, Mirella crossed the ball, and Jamile was tackled before she could finish. In the final stretch, the match became balanced, and Real Heips equalized in the 43rd minute. The Flamengo defense failed to intercept a long pass, and Ana Rita beat Sarah Alvim: 1-1. On the ensuing play, Raika hit the post, but that was all. The score kept the team in the lead of the competition, and a simple victory guarantees the title.
